In olden days, knights had to wear gloves made of metal to protect their hands from sword cuts. Blacksmiths wore thick leather gloves made with more than one hide. Thankfully, Working Men in today's era with dangerous jobs can wear Ansell 28-507 Metalist Cut Resistant Coated Work Gloves. They're thin, but they're just as tough as medieval gauntlets -- and way less heavy.
The three-tone design (dark brown, tan and white) is made with an outer coating of brown foam nitrile. The nitrile rubber is flexible and tough, but most importantly, protective. Nitrile is abrasion- and cut-resistant.
The two-piece liner is made with breathable cotton for softness, because hands should be comfortable even when they're working. For strength, the liner also contains DuPont Kevlar in stress areas, the same tough stuff found in bulletproof vests.
Made in an ergonomic design, the gloves are made to fit comfortably and flexibly around hands, so you retain full use of your fingers. Nitrile safety cuffs extend the protection up your wrist, because you can never have too much safety.
