The Ariat boots built on Ariat's ATS stability system to give you a soft, supportive foundation for your every step. It's called Advanced Torque Stability because it keeps your feet steadier and safer. It all begins with the unique, gel-cushioned footbeds.
As the gel in these steel toe boots shifts and moves to adjust to your comfort needs, the moisture-wicking fabric works to keep you dry. It gently pulls sweat away from skin so you stay dry and comfortable. Heel stabilizers have been added to the footbeds to improve stepping rebound, so you literally bounce back with each one.
You won't see any of that on the outside. What you will see is handsome, 10-inch shafts fashioned from full-grain leather to make these cowboy-styled boots. Natural full-grain is left unprocessed, so you lose none of the leather's inherent toughness or wear-resistance. Full-grain flexes and moves, so you'll encounter no resistance when you step. The tall, blue shafts give these Ariat boots the name Blue Steel. Embellished switching up the shafts adds handsome detail.
Feet need support as well as softness. That's why these safety toe boots also give you ergonomic shanks that follow the curves of your feet. The shanks are made from composite, non-metallic material that won't conduct electricity or temperature. The tough soles, attached with durable waxed thread, provide a firm foundation for all of it.
The stitched Goodyear welt construction creates a durable bond between the uppers and lowers, so you're safe to step more. This slip-resistance footwear keeps the tread on the outsoles firm, even against icy and wet floors. The soles are protected with oil-resistance to prevent corrosive chemical wear. They've even been tested to resist abrasions and extreme heat, up to 750 degrees F or 400 degrees C.
These Ariat Sierra boots are even rated to protect you from electrical hazards. The EH rating means that the soles will absorb electricity, so you stay safer around open circuits and other hazards. The heels are 1.5 inches high, giving you lift and extra grip on narrow ladder rungs.
