Ariat Boots: Men's Workhog Trek Brown 10011973 Composite Toe EH Work Boots
When you decide to get rid of something, you give it the boot. But you won't want to get rid of these Ariat Men's Workhog Trek Brown 10011973 Composite Toe Waterproof Boots anytime soon. They're so durable, comfortable, and protective, we might just have to change all the age-old boot expressions.
Visible stitches show up handsomely against the dark brown leather used to make these Ariat boots. The full-grain leather is wear-resistant and durable, but it's also soft. It bends and it moves, flexing naturally with your steps. Because these Workhog boots are waterproof, they will also keep you dry. Inside, waterproof booties add a thin, lightweight layer of drying protection.
Ariat's ATS Max platform technology keeps steps cushioned and supported when you wear these composite toe boots. From the soft footbeds to the tough outsoles, the technology is designed to give feet exactly what they need for more comfortable, safer steps. The footbeds are moisture-wicking to gently pull sweat away from skin to keep you dry. Gel cushioning in the footbeds of these EH boots gives you comfort that adjusts as you step. Meanwhile, heel stabilizers lessen strike impact. You'll get more softness thanks to the airy EVA cushioning of these Ariat boots. Lightweight EVA foam reduces and absorbs foot shock. Even the mesh collars and tongue tops are lightly padded to create a soft fit all the way around both feet.
Thinsulate Ultra insulation keeps you warm and work-ready even in the worst conditions when you wear these safety toe boots. Lightweight and thin, the 800 gram weight Thinsulate absorbs your own natural body heat. It reflects back to you as needed to provide warmth even in freezing weather. Mesh lining prevents too much heat buildup. The fabric of these insulated boots is light and airy to promote cooling air flow.
Extra wide shanks in these moisture-wicking boots give steps forefoot and heel stabilization. The shanks keep your arches lifted to prevent muscle pain and fatigue. The entire design of these waterproof boots rests on the tough Duratread outsoles. Made for durability and flexibility, the soles are finished with an aggressive tread design and 90-degree heel. The heels give you better grip on ladder rungs, and the slip-resistant tread gives you better grip everywhere else. Even corrosive chemicals won't eat away at the soles thanks to oil-resistance.
The EH-rated soles of these slip-resistant boots are secured with glued cement construction. Electrical hazard resistance means that these soles will absorb dangerous electricity, and your body will not. Non-metallic composite safety toes in these Workhog Trek boots protect the tips of your feet from falling dangers. Composite is lighter in weight than steel, doesn't collect static energy and won't conduct heat or electricity. It is rated to meet ASTM F2413-11 MI/75 C/75 standards for protective footwear.
Give these Ariat Men's Workhog Trek Brown 10011973 Composite Toe EH Insulated Boots a try, and you won't be giving them the boot from your closet.

These work boots are perfect for keeping my feet warm, while also protecting them from the elements. I am very pleased with how the boots fit. The material seems to be very heavy duty and seems like it will last a long time. I wear them under jeans on the worksite the jeans fit perfectly over them. Overall- Great boots!

The Perfect Work Boot...
No break in period. Total comfort right out of the box. Light weight and warm. Just perfect. I work outdoors all year round and these boots have never let me down. I am on my second pair only because I got a boot allowance from work. My original pair is still in excellent condition.
