Ariat Boots: Men's Workhog Trek Composite Toe 10011951 EH Waterproof Work Boots
Unless you’re Fred Flintstone and you work at the Slate Rock and Gravel Company, you won’t be operating a crane in bare feet anytime soon. Until it becomes safe to operate heavy machinery and drive in bare feet, you need to get yourself a pair of Ariat Men's Workhog Trek Composite Toe 10011951 EH Waterproof Work Boots.
Waterproof full-grain leather uppers and a waterproof bootie construction work in unison to seal out the rain and any outside moisture. That means when you're feet are inside these Arait boots they are going to stay dray and comfortable, even through long days. Without the waterproof bootie, we would not recommend submerging your foot in a puddle of water. Since these waterproof boots are made with waterproof booties, quick steps through puddles should not be a problem.
Comfort will greet your entire foot thanks in part to the ATS Max technology built into the composite toe boots. In this Advanced Torque Stability (ATS) system, a moisture-wicking footbed keeps your feet cool and dry. The gel-cushioned footbeds and heel stabilizers inside the work boots work together to cradle and stabilize your feet with each step. An EVA mid-sole (a layer of material sandwiched between the inner and outer soles) absorbs shock, which helps to prevent cranky, achy feet. ATS Max platforms deliver stability and return energy back to your feet. They also keep your body aligned so that you put less strain and stress on your feet while you're working in these Workhog Trek boots.
Inside, mesh lining will surround your feet in breathable comfort. The breathable mesh used for these safety toe boots helps release heat so your feet won’t feel like two hot potatoes in an oven. A slightly padded mesh collar and tongue top provides an unexpected extra bit of cushioning softness.
The oil-resisting and slip-resisting Duratread outsoles used for the Ariat boots are securely attached to the uppers using the lightweight cement (no, not that cement) construction method. This method uses a strong adhesive to create a secure bond. The result is lightweight flexibility so your feet won’t feel like they’re getting a workout after just taking a few steps.
The aggressive tread design on the soles of the composite toe boots ensures safe footing especially in rugged outdoor environments. The non-slip, non-marking rubber outsoles provide great traction while still being resistant to damage from abrasions and corrosive chemicals.
Your new favorite work boots will last you a long time with the strategically placed TecTuff toe and heel for extra wear protection. TecTuff makes them more abrasion-resistant. Ideal for climbing up and down ladders, the 90 degree heel gives you better grip on the rungs.
Featuring an ASTM F2413-11 MI/75 C/75 EH rated composite safety toe, your toes won’t be crushed from falling and rolling objects. Composite is just as safe as steel, yet it’s so much lighter and it won’t conduct heat, cold or electricity like steel can. To help protect you from workplace electrical accidents, these Ariat safety toe boots are electrical hazard rated too.
You’re not Fred Flintstone, but these Ariat Men's Workhog Trek Composite Toe 10011951 EH Waterproof Work Boots will have you saying, “yabba dabba doo.”
Manufactured Sizes: D 7-12, 13, 14 | EE 7-12, 13, 14
I like these work boots as they are very comfortable but they are heavy in the toe area so not well balanced. I can still wear them all day long with out much problem though. The construction is of good quality and the interior of the shoe is very durable the outside material does seem to scratch easily and attract dirt easily as well.
