Frost would have loved that the uppers are a combination of dark brown, 1.6-1.8 mm, water-resistant suede and high tenacity nylon. They're lightweight and breathable, and come with a comfortable feel right out of the box.
Waterproof in all types of weather, these hikers have a layer of Gore-Tex waterproof membrane. It protects your feet and footwear from rain and water that cause foot discomfort.
A Lite 2 footbed inside the shoes provides a cradle for your feet. It's padded and keeps your feet comfy. Under that, EVA midsoles offer a layer of molded padding.
All good hiking boots should have a tough lasting board--as these boots do. A lasting board is a stiff piece of material located between the midsole and outsole. It shields your feet from the pain caused by walking across gravel or other hard and uneven surfaces. The one in these Asolo shoes are Asoflex 00 SR lasting boards.

These brown boots have special Power Lite soles developed in conjunction with Vibram. Aggressive heel cleats keep you stable even on irregular surfaces.
The forefoot design gives your feet increased protection (look at that toe cap!), and controls pronation. Pronation is a foot problem that causes your ankles to curve inward and your arches to collapse. These Asolo hiking boots help to combat that problem with a special design that keeps your feet in line while you walk.
