Glossy and low-cut, the uppers are styled in an athletic style because they feel like athletic shoes. The black, full-grain leather provides flexible support and long-wearing strength, while 1680 ballistic nylon panels add abrasion-resistant breathability to release sweat-inducing heat. A waterproof flap inside the zipper keeps moisture away.
Speaking of dry comfort, these boots are made with waterproof, Gore-Tex liners. Gore-Tex is breathable but moisture-resistant, so sweat will escape but rainwater won't seep in. Removable, easy-to-clean insoles softly cushion steps to prevent fatigue. EVA foam midsole create a second layer of comfort.
Non-metallic nylon was used to make the shanks, because feet need lift to prevent sore muscles. The rubber outsoles have been cemented to the uppers with tough cement construction to prevent moisture. The shock-absorbing rubber soles are slip-resistant, to keep you on track even when floors are wet, icy or slick.
