Full-grain leather has been integrated with abrasion-resistant nylon panels to create stylish, sleek uppers. The combination of leather and nylon provides a good-looking contrast, but that’s not why Bates used it. Natural full-grain is flexible and durable, so it'll move easily with your feet. The tough nylon is breathable, so it'll allow cooling air flow to get to your skin even as it allows heat from inside the shoes to leak out (so, you won’t get too hot). Pull tabs at the back assist in easy on-off action.
Bates individual comfort system technology was used to create a comfortable, soft interior. The cushioned insoles are made with lightweight EVA foam to support every step. Removable, the insoles may be cleaned any time. The removable disk built right into the insoles allows you to adjust firmness and cushioning, creating just the right feeling for your feet.
Cement construction holds the non-marking rubber outsoles in place, attaching them directly to the upper part of the shoe. The slip-resistant tread helps feet maintain traction, even on wet floors.
