There are just so many occasions, at work or at play, where a good knife comes in so handy. If you've got a Benchmade, you know you're gonna be fine. This knife is slim and powerful, and really feels like an extension of your own hand. Start with the patented Benchmade exclusive: the Nitrous Assist Monolock. This system gives the blade's handler exceptional control. The thumb-stud opener deploys the clip point blade for easy, one-handed use. As the blade is opened to a 30-degree angle, the torsion arms take over and continue the blade opening process automatically. As the blade is closed, two torsion arms running the length of the handle liners are secured in place and tensioned against the blade tang. This gives the user superior control over the whole process--a far better way to open and close a sharp knife.
And sharp it is. The blade is made of S30v premium stainless steel, a powder-metallurgy product with uniform carbide distribution that has clean steel properties. It resists corrosion and has an excellent edge quality with a hardness of 58-60 HRC and a 0.125 inch blade thickness. This knife won't leave you sawing at boxes with poor results. And if you've just reeled in The Big One, you can bet this blade is ready to cut the line and let you bag your catch.
Don't let its size fool you...with an overall closed length of only 4.64 inches, it's small enough to tuck in a pocket or purse. The superior blade is 3.76 inches long, and it's housed in a machined Titanium handle that's both sleek and lightweight. The steel carry clip makes it portable and convenient.
