This Benchmade knife has an olive handle and a Tanto blade. The blade is 3.45" long and .115" thick. Forged from stainless steel (154CM), this combo edge knife is designed for all sorts of jobs: sharpen a stick for a make-shift tent peg, carve a whistle out of a twig, or cut up dinner and cook it over an open fire. Folded, this knife is 4.62" and open it's 8.07", so it's not a teeny pen knife--it's a serious blade (the weight is 3.25 ounces).
Benchmade's Tanto knives have ambidextrous thumb studs so they can be opened with either hand. And the AXIS locking mechanism ensures that when the folding knife is open, it stays open, so it won't close up on your fingers causing an injury. The blade hardness is 58-60HRC, so you also don't have to worry about it breaking off while you're using it.
The Valox handle is .64" thick and contains 420J stainless steel liners. A reversible steel pocket clip on the handle gives you the option of clipping this Benchmade knife to your pocket or belt.
