The 3.45" stainless steel (154CM, with excellent corrosion-resistance) blade is designed in a partially serrated, modified sheepfoot style. This style has no point at the end for injury-prevention, with a curving spine that meets the edge. This design, often used by emergency rescue workers, is perfect for slicing. A razor-sharp cutting edge (.115" thick) gives you clean, precision cuts. The blade has a hardness of 58-61 HRC, allowing it to hold its edge without being too brittle to re-sharpen.
An AXIS locking mechanism keeps your blade in place. The ambidextrous, one-hand opening gives you cutting ease, while a notched thumb rest on the blade gives you a secure grip. Double stainless steel liners in the handle offer durable strength without compromising the lightweight feel (only 3.25 ounces in weight).
Fully open, this knife is 8.07" in length. The black handle is made with Noryl GTX, a molded plastic, and Valox, molded resin that's been reinforced for stiffness. You'll find a side-to-side reversible pocket clip on the handle, letting you store your knife as you please. Closed, this knife is only 4.62", so it lends itself to easy storage.
