Berne Shorts: Men's Green Cotton RipStop Cargo Shorts S938 OLVDK
Are you a jeans-only sort of worker out of choice. . .or necessity? Anyone can learn to be afraid of fabric when a few weeks' worth of hard work is enough to wear out shorts, shirts and pants. But these Berne S938 OLVDK Olive Duck Green Cotton Rip Stop Cargo Shorts were meant to handle the job -- no matter how taxing the job might be.
Made with 100% cotton rip-stop fabric, these shorts can definitely take a beating. Cotton rip-stop has the softness and touchability of natural cotton, material that breathes well against the skin and washes easily in the machine. But the rip-stop construction keeps the fabric tough against wear and abrasions. Like the name says, cotton rip-stop is made so it won't tear or rip.
The 11-inch inseam is long enough to keep you covered, but not so long that you can't stay cool when you're at work. A tough brass zipper and button front keep everything secure. Even the fly is made for durability.
Two large cargo pockets give you plenty of storage space. Both pockets have snap closures to help you keep your valuables secure. The right pocket has a triple tool pocket, and the left has a hidden extra pocket. Both the front and back pockets are nylon reinforced for added strength. A tape measure loop finishes off the design.
The Berne S938 OLVDK Olive Duck Green Cotton Rip Stop Cargo Shorts have it all, even the durability of strong denim. Isn’t it time you took a break from your work jeans?

Keep you cool...
Who wants to wear heavy weight shorts in the summer? Definitely not me. I used to wear mainly denim shorts, but in the middle of August and in temperatures above 90 degrees, it becomes much more convenient (and cool) to wear shorts made from a synthetic material that keeps you cooler and wicks away moisture much better than cotton denim can. These shorts are much better in that regard, and they have tons of pockets to keep tools or pencils in if need be. I would definitely recommend these shorts.

Not my favorite but not bad...
Not our favorite shorts due to the style, however, the quality and price of the shorts are great! The shorts just are not your typical cargo shorts and seem to be longer to the pockets, something I guess just seemed off about them. However, if you like the look of the shorts, I'd still recommend you trying them! They are good quality and for the price, you can't beat it! I'm sure if he wore them more, he'd get used to the look and would be purchasing more of them due to the high quality but for now, he'll just continue wearing outside to work in, which btw, they hold up great!
