Heavy duty and good looking....
I bought the red shirt and it's a very nice looking shirt and warm, the only reason I didn't give it 5 stars is the wrist are to small, I have small wrist and could just BARELY get it buttoned, other than that it's a great shirt.

I bought the red shirt for my father and the blue one for myself. Both shirts have received compliments when worn. The buffalo check plaid pattern is traditional and attractive and the colors are vibrant. The material is a nice heavy weight 9oz. cotton flannel and the shirt is sewn together well with very few threads that need trimmed. This is a shirt that will quickly become a favorite. I'm about 6 feet tall and broad shouldered and average build and wear a size large. The shirt runs true to size. The sleeve length is generous even after washing and slight shrinkage. One thing you do notice is the sleeves are tight in the fore arms as mentioned previously. If you are not used to that it might take a little adjusting to that fit. It is convenient if you wear it for work as you can slip your arms in and out of a coat without holding the cuffs and the sleeves hug your arms and stay out of the way of power tools and machinery. I work at a desk and the Friday I wore it to work the sleeves did not get tangled up in the telephone cord or microwave oven door. There is not room on the cuff to move the button to loosen up the fit of the sleeve. If you hAve wrists over 7.5" it might be too tight. The fabric drapes well and does a great job keeping me warm. I catch a chill easily so I prefer the heavier weight flannel. This compares well to the Rothko, LL Bean chamois shirt and the Woolrich oxbow flannel. If you can only buy one, buy this one and save some money. I bought a Rothko and this but only kept this one. I also have the LL Bean and Woolrich shirts and I like this value priced shirt every bit as much as the more expensive ones. I'm buying myself a red one needs season.
