Tingley Rubber

The Tingley Company isn't named after your expected response when you wear their apparel. It's actually named after it's founder, Charles O. Tingley, who got his start selling tire plugs for bicycles. And he did it ON his bicycle, going from city to city. With that kind of determination, he got a rubber company going with his two sons. In the early 1900's, he designed the first compression-molded stretchable unlined rubber overshoe.
