These navy coveralls are made to cover all of your body, and you'll want them to. The fabric has been given an Arc rating of ATPV 8.7 calories/cm2. This measures how much heat the material can stand before it begins to melt and degrade, putting you in danger of second- and third-degree burns. The flame-resistant fabric protects you from sparks, heat, accidents -- everything you have to watch out for, when you're trying to work.
It's made of a 6 ounce fabric blend of 88% cotton and 12% nylon. The soft cotton is smooth and comfortable against the skin, while abrasion-resistant nylon is lightweight and breathable. The material has a sateen finish to give you satin-like smoothness and shine.
