Constructed of Excel FR (flame-resistant) fabric that's 100% cotton twill, these navy blue FR Bulwark pants protect you from on-the-job hazards while looking great. The material is a medium-heavy weight, so it's not too warm on your skin, but gives excellent protection from flame. They have an Arc Rating of ATPV 10.6 calories/cm2.
Even though they're not made of denim, these jean-style fire-resistant pants have the look of classic jeans. They've got a one-piece waistband with a button closure and five, jean-style pockets.
In addition, these FR pants have the same, traditional, two-needle felled seams as regular blue jeans. Felled seams are the type you see on the side seams of most blue jeans, and they're very sturdy. The seam is sewn, the inner fabric is folded over itself, and it is then sewn down again to the outer fabric. In all, felled seams are sewn and resewn several times to ensure that they don't tear or rip out.
