Some Hiking Boots don't really deserve the name. They're hard, inflexible and so tough you can hardly move your feet in them. Carhartt CMH6370 Men's Brown Composite Toe Hiking Boots are definitely tough and durable, but there's nothing inflexible about them.
These athletic style boots are made with light brown polyurethane and darker brown nylon in a handsome two-tone design. The brown polyurethane is durable and shock-resistant, and so lightweight you'll always step easy. Abrasion-resistant nylon creates a cooling interior, allowing ventilation to keep your skin less sweaty.
Grab hold of the pull tabs in the back and slide your feet into place. The padded collars and OrthoLite comfort tongues cushion the fit, keeping your feet comfortable. More contouring OrthoLite was used for the insoles, softening every line of your feet.
Waterproof membranes protect your feet from the elements, keeping you dry even when the weather's wet and uncomfortable. Lightweight EVA midsoles create a foamy comfort layer just above the soles. They're attached with flexible cement construction, so your steps are always light and easy.
Speaking of those rubber soles, the shock-absorbent material is oil- and chemical-resistant. They're durable against corrosive hazards, and slip-resistant to help you keep your footing even on unsafe trails.
The soles are rated for safety around electrical hazards, protecting you around open circuits. The Composite Toes protect you from hazards that come from above, keeping toes safe with ASTM 2413-11 rated impact-resistance.
