Carhartt Coats are very well known for their quilt lined, arctic protection, as is true with this classic C26 211 Carhartt Sandstone Traditional Winter Coat design, which is made from a 12-ounce, 100% cotton sandstone duck. The plied yarn fabric is micro-sanded,and then garment-washed for a soft finish.
For extra warmth and protection from the cold, the inside body of this Carhartt Coat includes an arctic-weight quilted-nylon lining with rib-knit storm cuffs. Snaps under the contrasting corduroy top collar also allow for an optional hood, for even greater protection.
This Carhartt Winter Coats design also includes a special design for "work fit", delivering a better range of motion and comfort. Other great features offered include: a split back with bi-swing, pleated elbow, two-way brass zipper front and wind flap with Velcro closure and an inside waist drawcord added for adjustment. For extra strength the main seams are triple-stitched.
Another great feature of this quality Carhartt coat is the utility offered through two extra-large front pockets and two chest pockets which employ both flaps, as well as hook and loop closure. In addition, the inside area has a welt pocket on the right side with zipper closure for secure storage and a patch pocket using hook and loop closure on the left side for added convenience.
