Carhartt added a smooth polyurethane finish to make the coat water-repellent too.
Inside you'll find fluffy quilted nylon lining for warmth and insulation. Rib-knit storm cuffs and a two-way brass zipper with a wind flap help keep out the wind and chill. The design boasts a split back and pleated elbows for improved mobility, and under the corduroy collar you'll find snaps that let you add an optional. Cinch the elastic waistband nice and tight and you're ready to face Arctic conditions.
