This is a coat that works long, hard hours and just doesn’t quit. It’s quilted for additional warmth on those mornings when you can see your breath. The quilting is flame-resistant, too. It’s made from Modacrylic batting that’s quilted to twill. The Nomex ribbed knit storm cuffs and the inside waist cord keep the early morning cold out, and keep you warmer. The two inside patch pockets have hook closures to keep your stuff where it belongs.
The Carhartt FRC066 BRN Men's Brown Flame Resistant Coat has a two-way brass front zipper with Nomex zipper tape, protective flaps and a hidden snap. For best results, wash it inside out. This coat is available in larger sizes with a slightly higher price.

This Carhartt lined coat is a great flame-resistant coat. It is very heavy and thick, and seems to run true to size. The coat is very warm and stops me from feeling the wind. However, there should be space for one layer under the coat so I'd also advise to wear another layer such as a down vest or fleece if it is freezing cold. It has no hood or strings so it should be very safe for wherever you work. The coat is made from great materials and feels well constructed. The pockets are deep and you don't have to worry about anything falling out. Definitely recommend this jacket.
Why Choose Working Person? Let Our Customers Explain!
I live in Alaska and work in the oil field on the North Slope. Sometimes it is hard to get the things we need to keep moving forward. I ordered a pair of Doc Marten boots and a black long-sleeve FRC shirt. I inadvertently asked to cancel the order instead of asking to cancel just the shirt. Your customer service made sure to get my order straight. The boots will be a nice addition to the wardrobe as fall sets in (snowed twice here in the last week) and we transition to winter. It takes a while for stuff to get to Alaska, so it is better to get things right early and not wait until the last minute when it is too late.
