Carhartt WFRJ130 DNY Women's Dark Navy Flame Resistant Canvas Active Jacket protects you from the worst of cold and the worst of heat. It's flame-resistant, insulating and not at all bad-looking. The fact that it carries the Carhartt name? That's the icing on the work jacket.
This navy Carhartt Jacket is made with 8.5 ounce flame-resistant canvas fabric. Because of the tight weave, canvas fabric helps to repel water and wind. Made with a blend of 88% cotton and 12% high-tenacity nylon, this coat is soft, stretchy and abrasion-resistant.
Inside, 6.75 ounce flame-resistant quilt lining has been added to provide insulation. The modacrylic batting has been quilted to twill cloth to create a soft interior that will keep you warm even in the midst of winter. You'll also find two patch pockets inside the jacket. Each has a hook-and-loop closure to keep your valuables secure.
A quilt-lined, three-piece hood has been attached to help you keep your neck, head and ears warm. The Nomex drawcord allows you to adjust the hood as needed, pulling it close to lock in warmth. More Nomex, a flame-resistant fiber, was used in the rib-knit cuffs and waistband. The rib-knit construction creates a snug fit that blocks cool winds.
The brass front zipper has Nomex zipper tape, the whole of which is protected by inside and outside flaps. Hidden snap closures allow you to close your jacket up smoothly for a streamlined look.
