Carhartt's FRA289 DNY Unisex Flame-Resistant Dark Navy Balaclava is constructed using a cotton and modacrylic blend to keep you warm. It not only provides full face and head warmth, it protects your neck from the cold, too. Seams are flattened to fit well and to eliminate abrasion points. When the weather warms up, you can pull the mask below the chin.
The flame-resistant balaclava helps to protect you from burns caused by electric arcs or flash fires. The protectant self-extinguishes when the source of ignition is removed. It meets NFPA, ASTM and OSHA requirements. Vertical flame tests are performed after 200 industrial strength launderings, twice the industry standard.
