You need a new sturdy, safety jacket for work anyways, you tell yourself as you admire the Carhartt FRJ003 DNY Flame Resistant Dark Navy Lanyard Access Jacket. This 8.5 ounce canvas jacket even has under collar snaps for an optional flame resistant hood. And a back access flap-opening to allow a lanyard for a safety harness.
This modest-looking Carhartt jacket has a pleated bi-swing back to allow for greater ease of movement. And a flame resistant modacrylic batting to twill-face cloth adds a quilted lining inside for safety as well as comfort. This fire-resistant jacket is rated to meet NFPA 70E regulations for flame-resistant workwear. The storm cuffs are fire-resistant Nomex rib-knit and cinch with hook-and-loop. For electric-arc protection the front brass zipper with Nomex tape has protective flaps inside and outside and hook-and-loop closures.
There's a ton of pocket room for everything you need to have handy on the job. There are two chest pockets, two large lower pockets and two inside patch pockets.
