These dark navy twill flame resistant pants are made out of a 9 ounce blend of 88% cotton and 12% high-tenacity cotton. The FRB002 FR Pants meet the NFPA 70E and the NFPA 2112 standards for fire resistance. The HRC 2 label is sewn at the waistband near the front coin pocket. Carhartt also marks the FRB002 with a Carhartt FR label sewn above the back pocket so safety directors can easily identify that these pants are rated for fire resistance.
The hardware on these Carhartt FR Pants complies with the FR standards. The front button closure button is arc-resistant. Also, the brass front zipper fly has Nomex fire resistant tape. The back pockets are reinforced. The main seams on these fire resistant pants are triple stitched for superior strength.
The fit of the Carhartt FRB002 is designed to have the waistband sit just below your waistline. The fit is generous through the seat and thighs so you should not feel encumbered by these FR Pants. The openings around the pant legs are 19 3/4 inches so these Carhartt FR Pants will easily fit over most work boots.
