The Carhartt Sandstone Sierra Sherpa Lined Jacket is built Carhartt tough with a 12-ounce 100% cotton sandstone duck outer shell that is micro-sanded and garment-washed for soft finish and pliability, but will stand up to the punishment of everyday use. It has triple-stitched main seams, bi-swing back, and pleated sleeves so you can move around and do your job without having to worry about blowing out an armpit or elbow when you are lifting those heavy items that always seem to be lying around in the way. The jacket has two front welt pockets and a breast pocket with a zipper closure; plenty of room for those little extras that you need to keep close at hand. The jacket has a brass front zipper with a large tab, so it is easy to use even with gloves.

The Carhartt Sandstone Sierra has a Sherpa lined body and hood. Sherpa lining is a 7 oz pile lining with a fiber content of 70% acrylic and 30% polyester, which insulates well but still wicks away moisture. This will keep you very warm because the lining won't keep in moisture, helping to prevent heat-loss. The sleeves are quilted nylon with a rib-knit storm cuff inside the end sleeve. There are two interior pockets, on the right a welt pocket with zipper closure, and on the left, a patch pocket with hook and loop closure.
