These Carhartt work jeans are 14.75-ounce (extra heavy duty weight) 100% cotton ring spun denim work pants. They are garment-washed for soft hand. This means for you all that the material is treated especially so that when you put them on they feel like they've been washed a couple of times, (if you grew up in the ‘50s, denim was like cardboard and it took awhile for them to become soft. Well, now the problem's been solved; these are soft right out of the gate).

Now for all the loops, pockets and that ruler pocket. These Carhartt work jeans feature two front quarter top pockets at the waist, the right front has a coin pocket (for your lunch money) the right leg has a tool pocket, the left leg has a hammer loop, and, of course, the ruler pocket. Also, there are two reinforced back pockets, a zipper fly, bar tacks at vital stress points (keeps the pockets from tearing away) and the Carhartt Jeans leatherette label on the right back pocket. (They throw the branded label in for free because they are proud of their workmanship).
