These 6-inch boots are made with black leather. Genuine leather's natural flex and strength fits comfortably around feet. This leather has been oil-tanned for added water-repellency and resilience. Padded collars and the OrthoLite comfort tongue create a soft fit around feet.
Soft OrthoLite insoles cushion every step. The OrthoLite moves and molds to feet in a contouring, fully supportive design. To keep your feet warm and soft at all times, these Carhartt boots are lined in waterproof membranes. Moisture stays outside, and your feet stay comfortable and dry inside.
Direct attached welt construction joins the polyurethane soles to the leather. The tough, direct attach construction creates a weather-resistant bond between the upper and lower portion of the Carhartt boots. Welt stitching adds flexibility. The shock-resistant polyurethane soles are built in a dual-density design to give you layers of support.
Molded thermoplastic polyurethane, TPU, was used to made the heel counters and Achilles flex joint. The supportive TPU softens heel strike without compromising your flexibility. The slip-resistant tread will give you traction on a variety of floors. Chemical- and oil-resistance protects the tread from corrosion and war.
The non-steel safety toes are ASTM 2413-05 approved to guard you against impact and compression. These composite toe boots are also EH rated, and capable of absorbing up to 600 volts of dangerous electrical energy.
