Constructed of rugged .50-mm polyester-backed PVC fabric, this yellow jacket is thoroughly waterproof. Stay dry in driving wet weather and high winds. The seams are completely waterproof, as they're electronically welded. The major seams are sewn as well as welded to give even more strength and protection. No water's getting through these babies!
At the front of this waterproof jacket, a double-front storm placket has inside and outside protective flaps. The flap covers the zipper to block wind and water from getting in.
On cold days, you'll be glad that the Neoprene inner-sleeve cuffs have adjustable hook-and-loop closures. Snug them against your skin for warmth and to block the wind from your wrists.
Unlike average rain parkas that are only useful when you're sitting on the bleachers at a game, this Carhartt wet weather jacket is designed for all-purpose work. The sleeves and snap-on hood block water from getting in making this waterproof. Pockets at the left chest and two lower-front pockets give you a place to store the things you regularly carry. Stow them and keep them dry. The hook-and-loop closures help keep the sleeves where they're supposed to be.
A snap-off detachable hood is the finishing touch on this Carhartt rain jacket. Snap it on when the worst weather threatens and be sure that you'll stay dry.
When wet weather strikes, don't get caught without your rain gear. Get a Carhartt Men's Yellow Surrey Waterproof Rain Jacket 100100 701. It's the perfect choice for a simple, totally waterproof rain jacket.

A great rain jacket...
Carhartt is a top-notch workwear brand, and this new jacket definitely doesn't disappoint. The material is strong and durable, and the seams are solidly crafted. The color is great for visibility both on the job and off, and even after wearing it for long periods of time, there's not a single drop of water that makes it through to your body. And I love that Carhartt has tall sizes all the way down to medium. At this price point, it's a great value if you're looking for a classic, functional rain jacket. I would definitely recommend it.

Nice heavy duty, will last a long time. Item runs a little big for the size. Like I can swim in it. I have the large, and I am 185lbs. Lots of room. I can wear a heavy sweat shirt under it and still have room. The rain gear also works for snow blowers. Then the wind blows snow on you, your clothes don't get all wet. And the PVC keeps all the cold wind out.
Why Choose Working Person? Let Our Customers Explain!
I wanted to let you know how pleased I was with the products and service I received from your company.
I had a short notice request to travel from New Orleans to the Northwest Territories in Canada to inspect an offshore facility out on the sea ice north of the arctic circle. You can't get clothes suitable for that area in New Orleans at any time, and certainly not in April. I called your order line on a Saturday, and your ordering department spent quite a bit of time with me making recommendations and checking to see if the gear was in stock. He made sure that the order was packed for a Monday overnight shipment and I had my clothing by Tuesday afternoon. I left New Orleans on Wednesday morning.
This was a very important project for our company and I want to thank you for your service. I also want to tell you that the great representative you had for your company. I've passed on your name to our organization for other folks that might have to make a trip up North.
Here are a couple of pictures of me in Canada out on the offshore ice. It was -22 C (-8 F) with a pretty good wind (wind chill -32 C / -26 F). The clothes I got from you all kept me warm throughout the 7 hours I spent outside doing my inspection. In fact, as you can see, I didn't even need to zip my jacket. It was a sunny day, which helped.
Finally, the gloves you see in the pictures are not the ones I ordered from you. Your gloves were fine, and I used them when I wasn't physically working, but the work I was doing required a leather glove for hand protection. I procured a pair of thinsulate leather work gloves in Inuvik that worked great and were a good balance between insulation, protection, and manual dexterity. I don't have them at work with me, but if you are interested I can look at the tag and send the brand information on to you.
