Carhartt Coats: Men's 102182 410 Dark Navy FR Full Swing Quick Duck Coat
You won’t be saying the words, “I’m cold,” or “I’m wet and miserable,” while you're wearing this Carhartt Men's 102182 410 Dark Navy Blue FR Full Swing Quick Duck Coat. This winter coat ensures that you're warm and protected when the cold weather hits. Made with top-of-the-line materials and technologies, you'll want this Carhartt coat handy when you're working in the winter. It also offers flame-resistant coverage, which makes it just that much better!
Made with 8.5-ounce, FR Quick Duck that's a combination of 88% cotton and 12% nylon with Rain Defender durable water-repellent, this men's coat is built to keep you warm and dry. It's 20% lighter than heavier outerwear, but it'll keep you just as warm. The Quick Duck technology that's built into the navy blue coat provides you with extra warmth during the cold days. The Quick duck material gives off the perfect amount of insulation and is extremely durable. The built-in Rain Defender technology keeps water and moisture from getting to the interior. The feeling of being cold, wet, and miserable won’t bother you when you're wearing this Carhartt outwear.
Now let's look into comfort and warmth (two very important things during those winter work days). This FR coat is insulated with 150g 3M Thinsulate and Platinum insulation FR materials. The insulation inside will keep you warm and cozy throughout the day, while the flame-resistant material ensures that you're properly protected during any job. This men's outwear also features flex elbows and freedom gussets under the arms to ensure less restriction. You'll be able to move around and easily do your job...you already have enough restrictions in your life, so don't let your work coat be one of them! This design meets the performance requirements of NFPA 70E and is UL Classified to NFPA 2112. Carhartt FR and NFPA 2112/CAT 3 labels are sewn onto the left chest pocket.
A Might Back bi-swing between the shoulders allows for ease of movement plus instant recovery for the garment. A Nomex FR inside-waist adjustable drawcord makes sure you're able to find the perfect fit. There are internal rib knitt storm cuffs with ergonomically-shaped sleeve hems add comfort and protection, too.
The style and build is important, too. The flame-resistant coat features a stand-up collar with flaps to cover hidden snaps. (A detachable snap-on hood option - sold separately - allows you to choose to add extra coverage to your head or not, depending on weather conditions.) It also has two chest pockets and two lower pockets with snap closures (so your tools and cellphone won’t fall out). The left sleeve upper-arm pocket and the two inside patch pockets allow for even more storage space (for snacks, of course). The work coat features a brass zipper with protective flaps and snap closure for electric arc protection. The seams are triple-stitched to make sure the design keeps an original look. The Carhartt label lets people know that you're wearing a leading brand, too.

Can't tell you how much I love the freedom of movement of this coat. Simply awesome. It has stretch panels in just the right place and the Thinsulate insulation is toasty. Very warm--I consider it a winter coat for me. Sizing is slightly large as most their stuff seems to be for me. I am a little pudgy and thick, but not overly tall, and have long arms--the coat fits me perfectly but most jackets from others I would take a large. I'm tempted to buy 2 in case it ever wears out! But the fabric seems super durable so that isn't likely...
