Carhartt Boots: Men's Brown CMW8100 Bison Waterproof Slip Resistant Work Boots
You've seen what happens when water gets inside your footwear and has the chance to attack your feet. It wrinkles and puckers skin, it creates a bad smell. Basically, it makes you feel icky and uncomfortable until you get dry again (which probably won't be until you get home and get to take your footwear off). Carhartt Men's Brown CMW8100 Bison 8 Inch Waterproof Slip-Resistant Work Boots are made to keep your feet dry, so you won't have to deal with any of that nonsense.
These work boots are made with waterproof membranes that block moisture and keep wet weather away from your skin. You don't want to feel wet or icky, and you don't want to smell bad. So don't do it. Wear these Carhartt boots that keep you dry.
This pair of slip-resistant boots has more to offer than dryness. The 8-inch uppers are styled with bison brown leather that creates an attractive look. Leather moves and bends to surround you in supple comfort when you wear these waterproof boots, and it's also durable. The uppers have been oil-tanned to improve the leather's natural resistance to wind and water. That means you have even more wet weather protection when you wear these brown boots.
Padded collars keep the fit soft, while contouring Ortholite tongues cushion you right along the lace line. These Bison boots are so well-made, you don't even have to feel the laces. You'll feel nothing but softness under your feet when you wear these Carhartt boots. The insoles are made with Ortholite that contours and conforms to your comfort needs.
The polyurethane outsoles are made in a dual-density design to give your feet two layers of impact-resistance. Polyurethane is even lighter in weight than rubber, but absorbs more shock to protect your feet from stepping force while you wear these men's boots. The slip-resistant tread and molded TPU heel counters give your steps steadying support. Plastic-like thermoplastic polyurethane, TPU, keeps your heels well-positioned for better steps. The Achilles flex joint keeps your steps comfortable every time you wear these CMW8100 boots.
Treated for oil- and chemical-resistance, the soles of these brown boots stand up even to corrosive chemical agents. That means they're ready to perform on a variety of different job sites. Direct-attach welt construction was used to secure the soles to the leather uppers of these Carhartt boots. A piece of thin leather was inserted between the uppers and the outsoles, then all was stitched together to create the tough welt construction.
Don't worry about what happens when your feet encounter water. Just put on these Carhartt Men's Brown CMW8100 Bison 8 Inch Waterproof Slip-Resistant Work Boots, and take one more hassle right out of your life.

This review is for Carhartt Boots: Men's Brown CMW8100 Bison Waterproof Slip Resistant Work Boots. So far, these boots have surpassed my expectations while visiting producer plants in both cold and wet conditions. They keep my feet warm and dry throughout the entire work day. One thing to note is make sure you pair these boots with a moisture wicking and odor control sock because my feet sweat and need the added benefit of a durable sock as well! Great price and A++ on durability.

Good, like most Carhartt products...
I can only wear a few brands of boots. The others hurt my feet. As an added bonus I need the high-top lace-up boots for ankle support, that's all I wear. I found the Carhartts as a replacement for Rocky a few years ago. Honestly, I tried them because they were cheaper, I really thought I would be loosing money on the deal but I had to try them. The boots I originally bought (now discontinued) had a leather loop at the back to pull them on with. That was replaced by a nylon loop that I could barely get my finger into. Once the Gods found out I liked these boots and discontinued them I went to the ones I am reviewing now (almost the same). They have no loop. I wish the loop would find its way back in the manufacturing process. Some accountant that has never done any real work in his life has probably figured out the half a penny saved by not adding the loop will add up to millions he can save the company. A little more cushion would be nice but truely they are about as good as any other boot in the cushion area.

These boots perform very well and last. We get these boots for our workers twice a year and they are very pleased with them. They hold up in all extreme's of weather and anything that the men put them through, be it crawling under house's in the dirt and mud, or going into an attic with a temperature of 140 degree's.
