Carhartt Boots: Men's Composite Toe CMF1391 EH Waterproof 10 Inch Wellington Boots
These Carhartt CMF1391 Men's Brown Rugged Flex EH Composite Toe 10" Waterproof Wellington Boots will keep you protected on the job. Constructed with the finest materials, job-specific soles, and premium waterproofing, Carhartt's footwear is comfortable as well as durable.
This pair of Wellington boots are made from a combination of brown oil-tanned leather, neoprene, and high-abrasion, coated leather to provide extreme durability. Used primarily in work boots designed for extended trips, heavy loads, and hard terrain, leather is extremely water-resistant and can absorb up to 30% of its weight in water vapor and still feel dry. Oil tanning not only makes the leather of these Carhartt boots soft and flexible, but also improves its resistance to water, stains, and damage. Meanwhile, neoprene resists degradation from sun, ozone, and weather and also performs well in contact with oils and many chemicals. This synthetic rubber resists burning inherently better than exclusively hydrocarbon rubbers and has outstanding resistance to damage caused by flexing and twisting.
An EVA midsole with PU strobel pad and polyurethane with an OrthoLite insole provide five layers of cushion and flexibility when you wear these composite toe boots. EVA is soft, light, and flexible. This durable plastic foam material made of Ethylene Vinyl Acetate resin has good cushioning to provide soft comfort for your feet. The strobel pad of these safety toe boots provides extra cushioning under the ball of your foot and absorbs impact when doing your job.
Layers of polyurethane provide additional comfort and shock absorption when you wear these men's boots. Polyurethane is a foamed structure which contains tiny air bubbles, making the material lightweight and flexible. PU will even remain flexible at extreme temperatures as low as -30° C, when rubber and PVC tend to break.
The OrthoLite top layer with polyurethane base provides comfortable support and reduces foot fatigue. OrthoLite is an open-cell polyurethane base foam which enables air to travel through and around the insole of these Carhartt boots to create a cooler environment inside the boot. OrthoLite foams offer up to 95-100% breathability for maximum ventilation in and around the foot.
You're feet will be protected in Carhartt's composite toe boots which meet ASTM F2413-11 M I/75 C/75 EH safety standards. As a result, they're able to endure up to 75 lbs. of impact and 2500 pounds of compression. The protective shell is made with molded polymer composite technology combined with unique ballistic mesh for added strength.
For additional protection, these EH boots provide a secondary source of electric shock-resistance protection. This work footwear is designed with special heel and sole materials to safeguard you against incidental contact with electrical circuits of 18,000 volts or less under dry conditions.
These brown boots are also designed to be completely waterproof to keep you dry in most types of wet conditions. A waterproof and breathable membrane is used to keep your feet dry but promote air flow and circulation to keep you cool and comfortable throughout the day.
The Rugged-Flex rubber outsole of these watgerproof boots provides grip, traction, and flexibility in any environment. A combination of gripping lugs, abrasion-resistant rubber, and ladder lock channels makes these slip-resistant boots ready for any job. Rubber has excellent low temperature properties, keeping the material supple even in cold temperatures. It not only offers superior slip-, puncture- and cut-resistance compared to PVC, but is also resistant to bases, acids, alcohols and diluted water solutions of most chemicals that are water soluble.
Cement construction was used to attach this outsole to the upper of these 10 inch boots. Using an adhesive rather than stitching the two together ensures that the footwear is lightweight and flexible.
The 10-inch length featured on these Carhartt CMF1391 Men's Rugged Flex EH Composite Toe 10" Waterproof Wellington Boots will also protect the bottom of your pants and lower legs. The long length provides strong ankle support, making them ideal for walking in rough terrain where steep climbs or descents are expected. Pull on a pair before your next endeavor.

Why Choose Working Person? Let Our Customers Explain!
I wanted to let you know how pleased I was with the products and service I received from your company.
I had a short notice request to travel from New Orleans to the Northwest Territories in Canada to inspect an offshore facility out on the sea ice north of the arctic circle. You can't get clothes suitable for that area in New Orleans at any time, and certainly not in April. I called your order line on a Saturday, and your ordering department spent quite a bit of time with me making recommendations and checking to see if the gear was in stock. He made sure that the order was packed for a Monday overnight shipment and I had my clothing by Tuesday afternoon. I left New Orleans on Wednesday morning.
This was a very important project for our company and I want to thank you for your service. I also want to tell you that the great representative you had for your company. I've passed on your name to our organization for other folks that might have to make a trip up North.
Here are a couple of pictures of me in Canada out on the offshore ice. It was -22 C (-8 F) with a pretty good wind (wind chill -32 C / -26 F). The clothes I got from you all kept me warm throughout the 7 hours I spent outside doing my inspection. In fact, as you can see, I didn't even need to zip my jacket. It was a sunny day, which helped.
Finally, the gloves you see in the pictures are not the ones I ordered from you. Your gloves were fine, and I used them when I wasn't physically working, but the work I was doing required a leather glove for hand protection. I procured a pair of thinsulate leather work gloves in Inuvik that worked great and were a good balance between insulation, protection, and manual dexterity. I don't have them at work with me, but if you are interested I can look at the tag and send the brand information on to you.
