This T-shirt is made from fabric that complies with NFPA 70E requirements for Fire Resistant fabrics.
Made from 6.5 ounce fire resistant knit means the fire resistant properties cannot be laundered out. The fabric content is 55% Modacrylic and 45% cotton. Modacrylics are soft, strong, resilient and dimensionally stable. They can be easily dyed, have good press and shape retention, and are quick to dry. This means you can quickly rinse this shirt out each evening and throw it in the dryer so you can wear it to breakfast the next morning.
This Carhartt FRK087 LGY Men's Flame Resistant Short Sleeve T-Shirt is stretchable, and has a Spandex reinforced rib-knit collar. So, washing after washing, it'll hold up. It has a side-seamed construction to minimize twisting, so you always look good when you wear it. It has an ample left chest pocket with the HRC 2 labes. This is just the right sized pocket to carry your cell phone in case you ever do have to call 911 for the fire department.
