How do they do it? The 8.5-ounce canvas they're crafted of is 88% cotton and 12% high-tenacity nylon and it's flame resistant. If you work in environments that have flash-fire or electrical arc hazards, you'll be safer. In fact, they're NFPS 70E compliant. Other work-friendly features include an arc-resistant, high-tension snap closure at the waist, a left hammer leg loop, and Nomex zipper tape on the brass zipper fly. There's plenty of on-board storage, like the cell phone and utility pocket plus two back pockets that have been reinforced to last for ages.
The fit is fantastic--they're lightweight, which is so comfortable in hotter climates and they dry faster than traditional denim. The contoured waistband eliminates that embarrassing gap in the back, so no unintended peep-shows can take place. The straight-leg openings fit right over your work boots. The waist hits at mid-rise, giving you a better fit than the silly low-riders that are so trendy right now but make no sense for working folks. They're relaxed through the seat and thighs, so you can bend and stoop without risk of splitting any seams (and yes, the main seams are triple-stitched, just in case).
