These low-cut brown Carolina boots are made with oiled Nubuck leather. Nubuck has the fuzzy touchability of suede, but all the hard-wearing strength of full-grain. Because it's been oiled, the leather is even more resistant to wind and water.
Airy mesh lining on the inside promotes air flow to keep skin cooler and less sweaty. Blown EVA foam creates soft, lightweight footbeds. Designed to be removable, the footbeds slip right out so they can be cleaned any time. More EVA was used to create the pillowy layer in the cushioning midsoles.
Lightweight, non-metallic shanks lift and support your arches. Your feet won’t have to strain, and your arches will get the support they need, to keep your stride more natural.
Flexible cement construction was used to attach the shock-resistant rubber soles to the design. Made with external injection-molded arch support, the tough rubber soles help you repel the pain of stepping impact. Because they’re slip-resistant, they’ll help you keep your footing once you find it. The soles are also electrostatic dissipative, so they won’t collect a lot of static energy that may harm electronic equipment.
The non-metallic composite toes are made with carbon composite fiber material. This lightweight material is much lighter than steel, but meets ASTM standards for resistance to compression and impact.
