I've walked through 6" deep puddles and stepped into mud bogs halfway up the laces and my feet never got wet.
Once they're dry a quick brush over with a suede brush and the dark brown color comes back practically like new.
My only disappointment may be that I might not be able to wear them all summer. But I'll certainly try, especially when taking the dog into the woods near my house. I usually hate winter, but I'm actually looking forward to next winter so I can wear these Carolina boots all the time! I highly recommend these awesome insulated boots!!
