Caterpillar Boots: Men's 70043 Non-Slip 6 Inch Work Boots
Caterpillar Men's 70043 Slip-Resistant 6 Inch Second Shift Boots have full-grain oiled leather uppers that look and feel great. Caterpillar boots are made for people who need tough, comfortable footwear that can hold up during their rough work days. That’s why Caterpillar designed them with a classic style and durable construction.
The nylon mesh linings and rubber midsoles work together to keep your feet feeling good all day. Climasphere sock liners help your feet stay dry and comfortable, even if you’re working up a sweat. The Goodyear Welt construction means you won’t have to buy new men's boots when these wear out. You can just have them repaired.
These Caterpillar Men's 70043 Second Shift Slip-Resistant Boots have T3 rubber outsoles with excellent traction so you stay on your feet, and they’ve got a lug pattern that will give you lots of stability. Although they’re named for second shift workers, you’ll like them even if you work a different shift. Don’t worry, we won’t tell anyone. For both light and heavy industrial work, put these rugged CAT boots to the test.

great look and great price...
I really like the caterpillar 70043 work boots. they look great and are extremely comfortable. as always with the full grain leather the caterpillar boots uses they are very durable and will be in use for a very long time. it is also very helpful that they don't let your feet get wet.

I was really interested in this boot, as it gets very good reviews here on Working Person and elsewhere on the internet, and is frequently listed as one of the best work boots you can buy, but after going to a local store and trying them, I took a pass, mainly because this boot does not have a removable insole. That basically means you cannot replace the insole with a better orthotic, and if you try to use any of the insoles that I usually use, they will take up too much room inside the boot and wearing them will be uncomfortable. The welted sole and the steel shanks were a real plus, but until CAT starts offering these with removable insoles, I won't be buying them.
