The sleek, black uppers are made with waterproof, full-grain leather. Natural full-grain leather, derived from cowhide, is flexible to conform to feet, strong enough to withstand tough weather and wear. Inside, abrasion-resistant nylon surrounds feet in an airy fabric shell that provides cooling ventilation.
EVA foam, a lightweight and cushiony material, was used to create the sock liners. The foam is made to move with your steps. Remove the sock liners any time for cleaning and odor-control. The soft midsoles are made with polyurethane, a material that's lighter than rubber but even more impact-absorbent. Steel shanks placed deep inside each shoe provide lift and arch support, preventing pain and strain.
In each boot, a protective layer of Thinsulate gives feet warming insulation. The 200 gram weight Thinsulate material is incredibly thin, but warm enough to protect your feet if you're active in freezing temperatures. Flexion engineered construction secures the SRX outsoles to the uppers. SRX stands for extreme slip-resistance, which gives you traction even on wet, slick surfaces. The T900 rubber outsoles are shock-absorbent and cushioning.
