Caterpillar 89962 Men's Composite Toe Dark Beige Nitrogen Boots are made for extreme slip-resistance. Slick floors aren't the only thing that might stymie your workday. That's why these composite toe boots protect you against other hazards, too.
The neutral brown uppers are made with tough full-grain leather. Natural full-grain is incredibly flexible, softly supple to conform to feet. The tough leather is highly wear-resistant as well. Inside, breathable nylon mesh promotes cooling air flow.
Multiple layers of supportive comfort keep your steps softer throughout the workday. The sock liners are made with cushioning EVA foam, a lightweight material that gently cradles feet. The insoles are removable, so you can clean them any time. The midsole layer adds another level of cushioning, made with shock-resistant polyurethane. Lightweight nylon shanks support muscles, preventing painful strain and fatigue.
A combination of hand-sewn Strobel construction and cement construction techniques were used to secure the soles to the uppers. Hand-sewn Strobel construction creates incredible flexibility for easy steps. The cementing process securely bonds the soles to the design, creating a weather-resistant seal to block unwanted moisture and cold. The T901 PVC outsoles (polyvinyl chloride, a rubber substitute) is oil-resistant, to stand up to harsh, corrosive chemicals. The soles are made for extreme slip-resistance, to give you grip and traction even on wet, slick floors.
Rated for electrical hazard-resistance, these steel toe boots will absorb up to 600 volts of harmful electrical energy. The composite toes are rated to meet ASTM F2413-05 standards of impact- and compression-resistance. The non-metallic composite material is lightweight, and will not conduct hot and cold temperatures that might affect your comfort.
