The streamlined design of these Caterpillar shoes is low cut, all-black, and athletically styled for a fun look. The uppers are made with direct-injected polyurethane. PU, as it's known in the shoe industry, is water-resistant, shock-resistant, and highly durable.
Nylon mesh is used in the uppers and in the lining that surrounds your steps. Abrasion-resistant nylon is deceptively strong. It stands up to wear and tear, but it's also lightweight. The material of these men's shoes releases heat to keep your skin cooler. This breathable design provides cooling ventilation, so you stay less sweaty.
These safety toe shoes look like athletic shoes, but they perform like tough work footwear. That doesn't mean they feel hard. In fact, these are made to be soft and comfortable inside. Nylex material and molded EVA foam were used to create soft sock liners. Airy EVA is lightweight, but tough enough to keep your steps cushioned.
Dual-density midsoles give your feet two layers of foam cushioning. The soft EVA foam material keeps these EH shoes lightweight, so your steps can be more effortless. The entire design rests on T1000 rubber outsoles. Shock-resistant rubber keeps your steps springy, so you bounce back from stepping impact.
The rubber outsoles aren’t named for the sake of cuteness. They’re made to be flexible so every step is easier for you to take. Strobel and cement construction keep the soles of these slip-resistant shoes secured. That means the soles are glued into place and stitched, so you get flexibility and durability in one design. The soles are made for extreme slip-resistance and designed with ladder grip technology. That means they grasp uneven surfaces to keep your stride steady.
Those soles of these red and black shoes also keep you safer. They’re EH-rated to provide your feet with electrical hazard protection. They absorb dangerous electricity to keep you safer. Composite safety toe caps keep you safer still. They’re lightweight and non-metallic, but they meet ASTM F2413-11 safety standards for resistance to impact and compression.

Good Light Weight Shoes...
Good Light Weight Shoes .
I took off one star because the tongue slides off to the out side , Right & Left .
I have had this problem before , I Punched 2 quarter inch holes through to tongue near the top & installed 2 quarter inch stainless steel grommets to put the laces through on each shoe & that fixed the problem . They are very Comfortable I light weight , I like them . Now we will see how long they last .
