These Caterpillar Men's Black Crossrail 90201 Steel Toe Work Boots are built on a solid foundation to give you firm footing with every single step.
Designed with ERGO design principles, these black boots are made with a series of elements that work together. This technology keeps feet flexible and comfortable by enhancing and supporting your natural foot movements.
It all starts with the full-grain leather uppers of these Caterpillar boots. Full-grain is flexible, strong enough to bend, but not to break. It won't wear out easily, and it naturally resists wind and wet to keep you dryer. Simply wipe down the leather of your men's boots to clean it up and keep it looking like new; full-grain is very easy to maintain.
Nylon mesh material lines the inside of these Crossrail boots to provide lightweight strength. The abrasion-resistant fabric withstands friction, but it doesn't impede air flow. Airy mesh releases heat and allows cool air to flow in to reduce sweat.
A combination of Nylex and polyurethane come together to create the soft sock liners of these steel toe boots. These liners cushion your steps from toe to heel for all-day softness. The velvety texture of Nylex and the lightweight, shock-resistant nature of PU create supportive, soft footbeds. Poured polyurethane was used for the midsole layer of these safety toe boots, too. This creates a lightweight core of impact-absorbing support.
Glued cement construction keeps the Ultra Work compound outsoles of these Caterpillar boots secured to the leather uppers. This weather-resistant construction method is hard-wearing to keep you work-ready. Protective steel toes complete the safe design. The toe caps are rated to meet ASTM F2413-11 I/75 C/75 standards for protective footwear. They absorb impact and compression so your tender toes won’t have to when you war these men's boots.

Very comfortable work boot for a comfortable price....
Looks decent but performs great. These CAT boots do need a little break-in time due to the Steel Toe, but after about 4 days, these are very comfortable. The padded collar doesn't scratch my legs. The way they are made with leather, I thought they were waterproof, but they aren't, but I wasn't looking for that anyway. I do recommend wearing socks made for steel toe boots. I am very pleased with the soles and lugs, they are both flexible and it's almost like wearing sneakers. These have held up to the normal wear and tear of many 10 hour workdays. I wouldn't hesitate buying these again.
