Chippewa Boots: Men's Waterproof 6 Inch Work Boots 55160
This Chippewa 55160 Men's Waterproof 6 Inch Bay Apache Boots make you feel like you can do anything at anytime regardless of the weather. You can wear them outside, even when it rains or when you’re working in standing water. This is because the seam-seal construction keeps water out. If you wear them on a warm day, the breathable and quick drying Dri-Lex Lining wicks perspiration away from your feet to keep them comfortable.
The uppers on these boots are constructed from Waterproof Bay Apache Leather. You don’t have to walk around for weeks or months with that “new” boot look because Apache Leather has that broken in look even when brand new. This leather is abrasive-resistant, and if you do get a scuff, most of the time it’ll rub right out. The Flexwelt footbed provides arch support for stability, and along with the Cement Sole construction, keeps these boots flexible. The soles Chippewa 55160 Men's Waterproof 6 Inch Bay Apache Boots are made from black IQ Rubber, and are slip- and oil-resistant to prevent corrosion from exposure to chemicals and oils.

When searching for a work boot, I decided to try Chippewa because I thought they were American made. Boots arrived and are very comfortable and have performed well so far, but I was disappointed to see a China tag, therefore, only 3 stars. I could not find on the wp website that states the country of orgin.

The way that I wear boots puts even the toughest pair to shame. But these Chippewa work boots 55160 have withstood everything that I have thrown at them and more. The boots have survived days upon days of hiking in the Rocky Mountains. This includes crossing rivers where the water proofing comes in handy, hiking steep and slippery inclines, and slogging through fresh snow. These are some boots and show little wear. It is safe to say that I love these boots. I plan to purchase a new pair of these boots when mine eventually wear out. Great boots*****
