The Converse C8991 Men's Sage Green 8" Composite Toe Boots look more like they're made by the military than a company that's famous for basketball shoes. Converse knows comfort, and that's what you need when you're on the job.
The 8-inch, sage green uppers are styled with full-grain leather and lightweight nylon. The 1200 Denier Nylon resists abrasions, but it's light and loose enough to allow natural air to ventilate your feet. Full-grain leather is de-haired cowhide, left untreated so you lose none of the natural stretchy softness. The adjustable lacing system runs through non-metallic hardware that won't rust or corrode, even in extreme weather.
The foot force comfort insoles have built-in arch support and heel stabilizers that help take the pressure off your muscles. The removable design makes it easy to clean the insoles any time you like. Dual-density cushioning softens the balls and heels of feet, main impact areas. The heel stabilizers are made from TPU, thermoplastic polyurethane, a tough, lightweight, plastic-like material. The shanks are non-metallic, too. Shanks follow the natural curve of your feet, keeping arches lifted and supported.
Dual-density outsoles protect your feet from impact with two layers of shock-absorbance. The non-marking soles are made to take high-abrasion wear and tear. Built-in shock eliminator plugs soften heel impact. The composite toes are rated ANSI Class 75 for safety, protecting you from impact and compression. The composite material won't conduct heat, cold or electricity.
