These combat boots have sage green suede leather and cordura nylon uppers. They're also capped with a composite toe, so your feet are protected. The composite toe guard, as well as the lace hardware, is 100% non-metallic, so these boots are airport friendly.
Inside, you'll be happy to know that these boots have a Tailex lining. Tailex is Converse's waterproof lining of choice. It keeps 100% of water out of your boots, but is also breathable.
A removable F2 dual-density polyurethane cushion insert inside provides comfort for your feet. A TPU heel stabilizer and shock-eliminating heel cushion keep your feet from rolling and redistribute the shock of repeated impacts. The EVA cushion midsoles give you another layer of comfort. Even after long days standing or marching, you'll still be able to tell that these boots have cushion.
Dual-density outsoles also help reduce foot fatigue. They cushion your feet in some areas and stay stiff in others, variably absorbing shock and helping your feet get over rough terrain. The mountain trail rubber bottoms are attached to the uppers with cement construction. This is a method used to make athletic shoes.
