The Danner Work Boots 18200 Powerline are made in the USA with a 14-inch, black full-grain leather upper. Full-grain leather is the strongest leather available on a Danner boot. This leather resists alkali, lime and anything else you would rather not get on your footwear. The extra strong steel shank and the reinforced midsole of the 18200 Powerline Work Boots was designed for climbing all day without foot fatigue.
The breathable Gore-Tex lining wicks perspiration away while at the same time the waterproof membrane doesn't allow moisture to reach your feet. These boots have a 200 Gram Thinsulate insulation to help keep your feet and toes warm and toasty. Also there is double-thick leather on the instep where linemen usually experience the most wear and tear. The triple stitching also increases the durability of these great work boots.
Danner uses a Vibram Logger outsole on the Powerline Work Boots. The stitchdown construction gives you a wider platform for increased stability. The soles are oil- and slip-resistant.
