Danner 26059 Men's USAF Hot Desert USA Made Foggy Green Military Boots are so tough, they've been certified by the United States Air Force. The foggy green uppers are made with full-grain leather. The tough cowhide has been dehaired and then left alone, so you don't lose any of its natural flexibility or strength. Nylon panels (1000 denier) have been integrated into the design to provide ventilating, heat-releasing abrasion-resistance.
Inside, the Dri-Lex lining provides moisture-wicking comfort. The material will pull sweat away from skin to keep you cooler and dryer. The 8-inch uppers are made with a speed lacing system so you can access that cool comfort quickly. Lightweight fiberglass was used to make the supportive shanks, which keep your muscles lifted so they don't have to strain through the workday.
Hand-sewn stitchdown construction brings the leather uppers and Vibram soles together. The stitchdown method gives feet a wide, stable platform. This construction also makes the boots recraftable, an easy procedure done at Danner's Portland factory.
The military-standard Vibram soles have multi-directional lugs to give you grip on a variety of surfaces, no matter slick and unstable.
