Begin with waterproof, full-grain leather uppers that are flexible and super-comfortable. They'll feel custom-made, just for you. The beautiful rain forest brown color features hand-crafted stitchdown construction. This means the upper is stretched over the last, then folded or flanged out and glued to the midsole. Then it's all stitched together with what's called a lockstitch and then cement-bonded to the soles. The lockstitch uses both a top and bottom stitch, so even if a stitch is removed, nothing will come unraveled. This method also allows the use of leathers with higher oil content than cement construction, so you get a more supple feel to the boot. In the rest of the upper, you'll find triple stitching with a hyper-strong thread to give you supreme durability. They're crafted here, in the USA, so you can feel good about a product made on our home turf.
All this waterproofing and excellent craftsmanship carries on though the boot's interior, too. The liners are 100% waterproof and are made of breathable Gore-Tex.
