Full-grain leather and 1000 denier nylon were used to make the all-black uppers. Styled in a traditional military design, the materials give feet the best of support and comfort. Full-grain leather resists wear and weather, protecting feet with flexibility. The nylon panels release heat to help regulate foot temperature.
Breathable, waterproof Gore-Tex liners protect your skin from moisture. Gore-Tex is a revolutionary material that lets natural air flow in even while it keeps water out.
Two layers of cushioning protect your feet against painful foot impact. Lightweight, shock-resistant polyurethane footbeds absorb force to prevent pain. The midsoles are made with EVA foam, spongy material that naturally conforms to feet. Non-metallic nylon shanks also follow the curves of your feet, providing lift and support to keep your arches form feeling tired or strained.
Double stitching holds the Terra Force X soles in place. Through San Crispino construction, the leather is wrapped around and stitched to extended insole boards, re-stitched again and then cemented to the sole. That's a tough bond that prevents moisture and laughs in the face of wear. The Terra Force X soles are made in a lightweight design that transfers energy from the heel to the toe to make each step carefree.
The soles are slip-resistant, giving you traction on icy, wet floors. Oil-resistance protects the tread from chemical corrosion.
