Danner boots, second to none....
I am a medic in the National Guard. I like most soldiers keep at least two pairs of duty boots to choose from. I purchased these Danner boots a couple years ago and they are still going strong. I use them as my "winter" boots. They are a little heavier and a lot more sturdy then my other pair I wear in the summer. They do an excellent job of keeping my feet nice and toasty and not sweating them out at the same time. I did my initial training in these boots on the hills of Ft. Sam Houston during medical training. They took a hell-uv-a beating . They're still ticking. The ankle support is great, I've never got squirly once on my ankle or rolled it. They also shed moisture like a pro. If you want it all in one boot then trust Danner's Waterproof GTX Military Boots.
