Double H Boots: Men's DH1580 Brown USA Made Square Toe Buckaroo Cowboy Boots
Would John Wayne wear sneakers? You can't be a proper buckaroo without the right footwear, and that's just a fact. These Double H DH1580 Brown USA-Made 13-Inch Square Toe Men's Buckaroo Boots are absolutely the proper choice, whether you need to look good, work hard, or just feel like a cowboy.
Made in the USA, home of buckaroos, these cowboy boots are made with two different colors of leather. Perfed saddle vamps brighten the design. The perfed, or stitched, vamp creates color when you wear these Double H boots. Red stitching embellishments add vibrant fire to the design. Technically, buckaroos are cowboys in the California and Great Basin region (the wild, Wild West), but the term can be applied to any US cowboy...and that means you.
Peanut bison brown leather and black pampas leather was used to create that stylish, two-tone design of these brown boots. In either shade, leather is pliant and durable stuff. It bends and folds -- it doesn't tear and rip. Leather resists wind and rain because cowboys still have to work in all kinds of weather. In these American-Made boots, you’ll be ready to deal with anything the day might throw your way.
The leather lining inside adds even more luxury to the overall design of these square-toe boots. Even the outsoles of these Buckaroo boots are leather to give your steps shock-absorbing comfort. Leather resists wear so well, it’s tough enough even for the very bottom of the design. The 2 1/4 inch heels gives your stride a little bit of lift and better grip on ladder rungs.
PermaFresh material was used to cover the soft, cushioning insoles of these Double H boots. While the insoles absorb painful stepping force, the PermaFresh material kills odor-causing bacteria. The antimicrobial material prevents odors before it even begins. Your steps stay fresher and your work boots stay better smelling, and that’s pretty invaluable.
Wide square toes give your feet plenty of moving and stretching room for a comfortable fit. The entire design was made in the USA, right in Martinsburg, PA, for buckaroos of all skill levels. Even if you aren’t a cowboy, Double H DH1580 Brown USA-Made 13-Inch Square Toe Men's Buckaroo Boots will keep you comfortable, ready to work, and prepared to face the world.

The manufacturer really cut many corners... as well as quality. Made In U.S.A doesn't mean what it used to....
I've been wearing western boots for over 30 years and have worn a variety of brands.
These boots look nice, but appearances are deceiving. I feel Double H sacrificed quality by omitting traditional durable components which are hallmarks to a respectable grade of western boots. The price is less than most major boot brands--and you get less, I'm just glad I bought these on close-out.
-The saddle vamp is only for appearance and is not an extra thickness of leather to protect the boots from spur-strap wear.
-They're only a single piece of leather, stitched to overlap the vamp for appearance.
-Vertical leather piping on the boot-shaft was omitted, replacing it with a narrow strip of coarse cloth to the interior shaft seam.
-The gel-foam insoles feel soft and comfortable initially, but end up making the boots too hot to wear for more than a few hours. This seems much cheaper than the traditional leather counterparts.
-The spur shelf appears to be a cheap plastic partial-insert rather than part of full-welt construction.
-The heel counter sandwiches what feels like a flimsy synthetic piece rather than a heavier piece of leather stitched to the inside.
-The heel cap is visibly thinner, soft and not very durable grade of rubber.
-The bison leather seems thin--I have a bison-leather wallet which has more durable components.
