This Dr. Martens 2295 is a great, durable, Wellington pull-on boot that features the patented and durable Dr. Martens AirWare PVC air cushioned outsoles. These steel toe electrical hazard rated pull on boots were built with your comfort and safety in mind. Maximum safety features are provided to protect you from injury.
These Dr. Martens work boot meet the Electrical Hazard (EH) requirement that each shoe shall withstand 14,000 volts at 60Hz in dry conditions and the current leakage shall not exceed 3.0 milliamperes. Also, the steel toe meets ANSI Z41 PT99 standards. These work boots are built to go to work.
Inside these Dr. Martens steel toe work boots you will find a contoured full cushion insole that will provide your feet with a protective pillow to minimize fatigue. For the same reason, bamboo shanks are built in to provide extra arch support. Cambrelle lining is featured around the foot area to move moisture created by your feet out of the boot, keeping the internal temperature of the boots more comfortable.
Industrial Greasy is a full-grain leather with integral oiling which gives the surface an oily, waxy feel and robust nature. This leather is an icon in the Dr. Martens line of boots and is known the world over for being comfortable and durable.
The patented Dr. Martens AirWare outsoles will give you air cushioned comfort. These outsoles are also resistant to oil, fat acid, petrol and alkali. While also preventing you from slipping, these outsoles are designed to withstand heavy duty wear in harsh conditions.

I never had Doc's before but know of their history.
I have been wearing them for about an hour. The first thought was wow, they are very cushiony and fit very snug to the feet but not tight. They are a little chunkier than boots I have worn in the past.
I love the ankle support that is something missing on all Harness and engineer style boots.
The sole is so soft on the ground it almost feels like you are an inch above the floor.
They are a little heavy but I like that.
I will give these a week and report back to see if they make it through the honeymoon period. Heard some bad things quality wise about classic 1460's being made in China where these are made but right now these look like they are perfectly made. no missed stitching, seams are even and no gaps where the upper meets the footbed...
The wife and kids hate them so they are keepers....I am 45 and still have a punk attitude!! LOL
