Dr. Martens Boots: Men's Black R14403001 Ironbridge Steel Toe EH Met Guard Boots
We have two theories on how Big Foot has eluded capture for so long. It’s either because he doesn’t exist or because he’s been wearing Dr. Martens Men’s R14403001 Ironbridge Black Steel Toe EH Internal Met Guard Water-Resistant Boots. Remarkably strong and built with careful attention to detail, these men's steel toe boots prove you can go almost anywhere and travel for a long time if you have the right pair of work boots on your feet.
The uppers on these black safety toe boots are made from industrial grizzly leather. Grizzly leather is a lightly milled, water-resistant, full-grain leather which keeps your feet surrounded in dry comfort. The water-resistant leather keeps water out of your Dr. Martens boots and provides sturdy protection against the elements. Industrial grizzly leather is non-processed, naturally flexible, and resilient. So they’re easy on your feet, yet long-lasting, as they resist normal wear and tear.
Padded Smartmask polyurethane cushioned footbeds in these internal met guard boots help create a soft, cushioned resting place for each foot. The extra cushioning eases your steps to help keep foot fatigue from setting in after the long hours at work. Your feet will be treated to a layer of softness that’ll make them purr like a kitten. Padded collars and tongues add to your comfort.
In addition to plenty of comfort features, these black boots have their fair share of safety features, too. The electrical hazard protection offered by protective Dr. Martens footwear means that you'll stay safer even around dangerous open electrical circuits. Internal met guards help protect your feet from damaging impact. Unlike hard, external met guards, these safety toe boots feature D3O technology. D3O technology is a shock-absorbing material that when struck creates a protective barrier that absorbs and disperses the energy of the impact, reducing the force transmitted to your feet. Its unique flexibility ensures increased comfort, allowing for longer wear for your steel toe boots. In addition to internal met guards, these men's boots have steel toe shoe caps that offers protection from a minimum 200j impact and 15kn compression force. Like fully armed soldiers, your feet will be armed against the harmful enemies of your workplace.
The signature Dr. Martens shock-absorbing, air-cushion PVC soles used for these water-resistant boots feature slip-resistant tread to keep you steadier on your feet. The PVC soles are remarkably lightweight, yet strong and effective against slips. Attached using Goodyear Welt construction, the protective uppers and sturdy soles are heat-sealed and sewn together, not merely glued like many work footwear constructions. This means the slip-resistant soles on the water-resistant boots can be easily replaced or repaired when needed, extending the life of an already durable pair of work boots. In addition to being slip-resistant, the soles have excellent abrasion-resistance as well, helping to prevent premature wear.
Dr. Martens Men’s R14403001 Steel Toe EH Met Guard Water-Resistant Ironbridge Boots are the safety toe boots you want on your feet when you need to go the distance. Exceptionally durable, protective and comfortable, it’ll take you a while to wear them out. They might capture Big Foot before these Doc Martens boots need replacing.

I am trying these out as an alternative to the traditional Metatarsal boots that we get (the metatarsal guard is built into the tung verses an extra piece over the laces). There was some concern about having the laced exposed, but so far so good! This has the same quality and comfort that we have come to expect from Dr. Martin.

Good Quality for the price....
We purchased this boot as an up grade from the ones that were purchased previously and are very happy with this purchase. It is a good quality and very comfortable for the price. So far they are lasting to the rough conditions in a foundry. I would definitely purchase these boots again once I finally wear them out.
